Samaritaine Reborn

Where Our Story Began

Following the extensive renovation of La Samaritaine, we were invited to imagine the public reveal of the newly transformed Parisian landmark—introducing its renewed architecture, its contemporary identity and its connection with the neighbouring Cheval Blanc Paris.

The project was conceived as a large-scale public celebration, combining storytelling, luxury, spectacle and festivity. The ambition was not simply to unveil a building, but to create a collective moment around its reopening and to express the singular place La Samaritaine occupies within the cultural and architectural landscape of Paris.

Yet the project holds a special significance for us that goes far beyond the event itself. Developed and won with the agency Shortcut, it was during this creative process that Florian and Julien first met. As the concept took shape, we discovered a shared instinct for creating experiences in which narrative, scenography and live spectacle come together. That immediate creative connection became the starting point for everything that followed.

The event was ultimately cancelled in its original form due to the Covid pandemic, and the large public performance was never produced. Nevertheless, the project had already achieved something decisive: it brought us together and gave us the desire to continue creating as a team.

This is why we have chosen to include it in our portfolio. Not because it is the most representative project we have designed, nor because it ever reached the public, but because it marks the beginning of our shared adventure.
